Four of Auckland’s most beautiful golf courses are also close by – among them the Muriwai Golf Club. Beautiful fairways roll out before you with the boom of surf and deep hues of the sea at your shoulder. Modelled on traditional Scottish seaside courses, the views here are breathtaking from every hole. The other courses in the district are equally picturesque and include Helensville, Huapai and Southhead overlooking the stunning Kaipara Harbour.

We originally stayed here for our wedding night and then again for our first wedding anniversary. Ten years on we stayed again! A beautiful, quiet spot – the cottages have a quaint simple feel but still have all the trimmings. Breakfast was provided the night before so that we could cook it at our leisure in the morning without being disturbed. Graham the host was lovely – really going out of his way to make our trip a memorable one. A fantastic place to relax and unwind in style!

This is a perfect location for a weekend getaway or for a conference venue.  We recently held a sales conference here and the feedback from the team was overwhelmingly positive.  The quality of the food prepared by Graham was outstanding and we were all made to feel like the place was our own.
