Arrival and departure times – check-in is from 2pm to 8pm. Check out is prior to 10am at the latest.

1. Prices, Terms & Disclaimers

a) The goods or services shall be purchased on these Terms and Conditions and at prices prevailing at the time the goods or services are purchased.

b) All accommodation prices quoted are inclusive of GST unless otherwise stated. GST shall be applied at the rate that exists when the services are provided.

c) All rates are room only unless otherwise stated.

d) The Vineyard Cottages is managed by The Big Hospitality Group Ltd.

e) The Big Hospitality Group Ltd is a New Zealand owned business.

2. Payments

a) Cash , Eftpos or Credit Card (Visa and MasterCard only). Credit arrangements must be pre-approved.

b) Your account will be charged in New Zealand Dollars (NZD).

c) The customer will pay all collection and legal costs incurred by Vineyard Cottages that are associated to the assortment or recovery of any unpaid amounts.

d) Payments are processed through the secure DPS Payment Express system.  No credit card information is stored by us and we are PCI compliant

e) All reservations must be guaranteed with a valid credit card provided upon arrival. In the absence of a valid credit card on arrival, a fully refundable $500 cash bond is required, except for Agent and Advance Rate Group Bookings.

3. Interest

a) Payments not made on the due date may, at the sole discretion of The Convent Hotel, bear interest from the date of the invoice at the rate of 15% per month until paid or at such rate as shall be in force at the date of purchase.

4. Cancellation Policy (Non Covid)

a) For FIT (Free Independent Travellers), all cancellations can be made before 2pm (local time), 7 days prior to arrival free of charge. Any cancellations made after will incur up to one nights accommodation charge. In the event of a no show without notification all monies paid will be forfeit.

b) For Travel Agents and Corporates – if the bookings have been guaranteed by credit card, voucher, IATA or company charge-back, the room will be held until 10am the following day. Any bookings that have been guaranteed and are not cancelled by 4PM on the day of arrival, nor taken up by the client, will incur a cancellation fee of ONE NIGHT accommodation.

c) Group and Long Stay Guarantee and Cancellation – all confirmed group and long stay bookings (5 continuous days or more) that have not been guaranteed by FIT, agent or company will be released 7 days prior to arrival. If the bookings have been guaranteed by credit card, voucher, charge-back or re-confirmation by phone or email, the room will be held until 10AM on the second day after scheduled arrival. Any bookings that have been guaranteed and are not cancelled 7 days prior to arrival, nor taken up by the client, will incur a cancellation fee of TWO NIGHTS accommodation.

Note: Long stay rates are to be booked direct with Vineyard Cottages only.

d) No show Policy: In the event of NO show, the first night’s accommodation will be charged.

e) Seasonal Promotions and Cheaper Rates Cancellation policy: All bookings must be prepaid and are non-refundable even if the booking is cancelled or modified.

5. Privacy Policy  

a) Payments are processed through the secure DPS Payment Express system.  No credit card information is stored by us and we are PCI compliant

b) The Big Hospitality Group does not disclose Guest or Booking Details to Third Parties except as required by Law.
