The Kumeu Wine region is the oldest in the country. Tucked around SH16 are a number of vineyards with deep history in the wine industry. Our very own Vineyard Cottages was built by Sauvignon Blanc pioneer Bill Spence.

VC’s Elle Armon-Jones has had over a decade in the tourism with her company The Big Foody showcasing the very best of New Zealand through guest’s taste buds. Elle is a highly entertaining and respected host in all things food and wine. She was President of the North Shore Wine and Food Society for three years and has long relationships with winemakers, vineyards, artisans and food producers around the country.

We’ll visit three vineyards and stop of the fabulous Boric Food Market. Vineyards might include :

Kumeu River, Soljans, Westbrook, Coopers Creek and Waimarie.
